What we collect and why
We collect contact details, vehicle information, photographs, callback preferences, campaign tags and enquiry correspondence to assess your request, find suitable buyers and support the introduction. Our lawful basis for handling your requested service is taking steps at your request before a contract. We use legitimate interests for proportionate fraud prevention, service administration and records of dealer fees.
Who receives your information
Selected buying partners receive the vehicle description, approximate location and vehicle photographs to prepare offers. We share your contact details with your selected buyer when you agree to proceed. Hosting and email providers process information to operate this website. We do not enrol you in marketing from this form. Private status links grant access to your enquiry for seven days; keep them confidential. We use campaign tags supplied with your enquiry to understand which activities lead to enquiries and completed introductions. No advertising tracker is added by this application.
Vehicle registration lookup
If you choose Find my car, we send your registration number to the configured DVSA MOT History and/or DVLA Vehicle Enquiry service to retrieve vehicle information. We do not send your name, email or telephone for this lookup. Results may be cached for up to 15 minutes and linked to your form for up to two hours. If you submit an enquiry, the retrieved vehicle information, retrieval time and any corrections are retained with it. MOT mileage is a historical reading, not your current mileage. Lookup does not check ownership, finance, theft or value.
Storage and retention
Vehicle photographs are stored privately and are accessible only to authorised site administrators. We review unsuccessful and withdrawn enquiries after 90 days and delete information no longer needed. Completed transaction and accounting records may be retained for applicable legal recordkeeping periods. Ask us for details of the processors and arrangements used by this installation.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict processing, or object where applicable. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
